Des Douceurs Pour Mon Petit Lapin

Hello Friends!

OMG! I am so excited to share with you this masterpiece! What an incredible Art Work by Laurence, who was our CCDT January blog hop winner of the 3D Love is in Air. Her passion is in scrapbooking. You can read her blog here http://lolascrapetcompagnie.blogspot.ca/2017/02/love-is-in-air-un-ballon-pour-mon-petit.html.

I love how she used the stamp set from Basket Bunch (143186) to create the filler, and used the coordinating Basket Builder Framelite Dies (143228) for the basket!

I am tickled pink, and I LOVE seeing other peoples work! I still love this 3D Hot Air Balloon design!

Lift Me Up - Fun Mother/Daughter Gig

Hello Friends!

Today was a fun mother/daughter gig class! We finally got together without the snow!

We have been planning this for a while back in early January and the snow has kept us apart.

The mother/daughter worked on the Lift Me Up! Hot Air Balloon Class. If you missed the class. and would like a kit, here is a preview of we made. In the kit, you will receive the Lift Me Up Bundle, all the materials for the 3D and 4 cards with envelopes. Cost is $100, includes shipping in Canada only.

Those who comes to the class knows that I offer personalized gifts as my way of saying thank you for coming. Twyla received a glass plate with her name etched onto the glass.

I love creating and I love giving. What more can one ask for? As usual, my local class always include a hot lunch!

McKenna has come a long way. I have been this little one for a while, and now she can just look at the design and put it together without any trouble!

Sealed with a Kiss

Hello Friends!

Happy Valentines Day!

We will be celebrating tonight with my BIL & SIL. Double dating at the Pink Peppercorn Seafood Restaurant at Kingsway and Knight. If you are local, you got to go there. It is the best seafood restaurant in town. The chefs are from the Cannery Seafood Restaurant when this restaurant shut down long time ago.

Anyways, this card was designed for my Coffee & Card meet that happened a week ago. I wanted to create something simple for them as most were 1st time stampers.

I love the opening using the Love Notes Framelits Dies (142752) as my barrier.

I added another element, the Succulent Framelits Dies (142757), and die cut the smallest flower and lay them across, and on top of the hearts.

The succulent flowers made it look like I have a succulent bedding. Love how it turned out.

Perfect Mix Birthday

Hello Friends!

I just went LIVE this morning!

Here is a picture of what I taught. If you missed it, you can check out my FB Business page here https://www.facebook.com/lizhollowaydesign/.

I love baking and I am sure you do too! This is a great stamp set for the bakers using the Perfect Mix (142933), available in the Occasions mini catalogue, and the Designer Tee (143359) stamp set, which is only available during SAB.

Here is the recipe:

1. Cut (1) of whisper white cs at 4-1/4" x 11" and score at 5-1/2". This is your base card.
2. Cut (1) of pool party cs at 3-7/8" x 5-1/8". Adhere to the base card.
3. Cut (1) of whisper white cs at 3-3/4" x 5". I then embossed the panel with the heart embossing folder.
4. Cut (1) remnant of basic black 1/2" x 5". You want this piece larger as you want your word to be centered. Stamp your sentiment in whisper white craft ink (101731) and add white embossing powder (109132). Shake off the excess and then heat set the powder with your heat tool (129053). Adhere to the embossed whisper white cs.
5. Stamp the Perfect Mix stamps in Archival Black ink (140931) onto whisper white cs.
6. Color your inked images with marker pens, and fussy cut them with the paper snips (103579). Arrange and adhere them to your embossed white piece.
7. Add sequence with multi-purpose glue.

Voila, you are done!

Star Blast Floral Flourish Wedding

Hello Friends!

I love my job when I actually get to design. It is so inspiring and fulfilling to life.

This was a last minute request for a wedding, and only had 1 night to make it.

The couples' wedding invitation was Black & Gold and I immediately knew what I was going to create.

  1. The base card is cut at 4-1/4" x 11" in basic black cs, score and fold at 5-1/2".
  2. Cut (1) 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" of Gold Foil (132622) and adhere to the base card.
  3. Cut another basic black cs at 3-3/8" x 4-5/8". Before adhering the mat to the base card, splatter some Gold Wink-a-Stella (141898) to give some background affect and then adhere to the base card.
  4. Die cut the stars banner with the Star Blast Edgelits Dies (142763) in Gold Foil (132622) and adhere to the base card.
  5. I added a Basic Jewel in the center of the banner.
  6. Die cut the word "Congrats" from the Sunshine Wishes thinlits (141489) in Gold Foil and adhere to the base card.

  1. For the inside, cut (1) 4" x 5-1/4" of Gold Foil.
  2. Stamp the bottom with Floral Phrases (141764) with Versamark Ink (102283) and add Gold Embossing Powder (109129) and heat set with the Heat Tool (129053).
  3. Stamp the verse in Versamark Ink and add Gold Embossing Powder and heat set that too until the powder is melted.
NB: The foil will curl when set heat on it. Just add Tear & Tape at the back and attach it to the inside of the card.

That is it! One gorgeous wedding card.

February CCDT Blog Hop "Great Occasions"

Hello Friends!

Welcome to another episode of the CCDT Blog Hop. This month, the theme is "Great Occasions". You have already seen the Occasions and the Sale-A-Bration catties. If not, click on the Tab "Shopping & Catalogues" and click on the icon.

I can vouch that the Occasions catalogue is awesome!

Be sure to hop through the design teams' sites. If you have been following us monthly, you know our design team is awesome.

My Great Occasions happens to be Sealed with Love Stamp Set (
142815) which ties in with Valentines Day, and ...

coordinates with the Love Notes Framelits Dies (
142752).

I created this card for someone who wants to celebrate "Love", and it is not just for Valentines Day. It can be a love note for anniversary.

I stamped the background with the lip stick in Real Red ink and then stamped the filler with Sahara Sand ink and attached it to the Shimmering White Base card. Then I stamped the "Love-Note" with Archival Black Ink.

You are probably wondering how I created this heart border. Check out the video. It will show you step by step how this card was made.

But wait, don't leave yet ... hop on over to Lynn Streifert's Blog. Click on the icon below.
